Senior Team

The management of New Track enjoys one of the most collegial and mutually supportive environments in publishing, largely because the team members have worked together for years, generating highly successful results with the current portfolio and at other companies prior to forming New Track… the environment is collaborative and fun.

  • Mark F. Arnett (Chief Financial Officer)
  • Mr. Arnett joined New Track immediately after its founding, having previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of F+W Publications. Mr. Arnett was recruited to F+W by Mr. Kent in early 2000, and the two executives worked closely together in building the success of that company. Prior to 2000, Mr. Arnett was the Chief Financial Officer for the $1.6 billion U.S. Toy Division of Hasbro, a New York Stock Exchange traded company.

  • Tina Battock (Vice President and Group Publishing Director, Creative Crafts Group)
  • Ms. Battock joined NTM in 2009 to serve as the Group Publisher of the newly acquired Creative Crafts Group (CCG), a special-interest media company with nine consumer titles, events, products and online properties targeted to the quilting, sewing, scrapbooking and paper crafting enthusiast. Ms. Battock started her niche media career with Rodale Press and later worked for Primedia and CK Media. She oversees the CCG operations in Golden, Colorado and Bluffdale, Utah.

  • Jordan Bohrer (Corporate Controller)
  • Mr. Bohrer joined New Track Media in 2007, after nine years in various financial management roles at Cornerstone Brands, a leading collection of direct to consumer mail catalogs. Prior to Cornerstone, Mr. Bohrer spent several years with a Big Four public accounting firm in audit and business advisory services.

  • Rick Corson (Vice President, Production)
  • Mr. Corson joined New Track in 2006 along with it's first acquisition, Sky & Telescope. Having served the role of Production Director at Sky Publishing since 1997, he has continued with New Track to oversee the production needs of the company’s expanding portfolio. Prior to 1997, Mr. Corson was the Production Manager for the late men's magazine P.O.V., which he joined after several years in the closely related prepress industry.

  • Stephen J. Kent (President & CEO)
  • Prior to forming New Track, Mr. Kent served as President and CEO of F+W Publications, leading that company's growth to one of the country's largest publishers and affinity marketers of special interest magazines, books, book clubs and conferences. In just under 6 years and starting with annual revenues of about $65 million, F+W demonstrated a consistent record of organic growth and successful acquisitions reaching more than $250 million in annual revenues at the time of the company's sale in 2005. At the time, the company employed nearly 1,000 employees worldwide.

  • Kristi Loeffelholz (Publisher, Crafts)
  • Ms. Loeffelholz joined New Track in 2006 after the acquisition of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting. Ms. Loeffelholz previously worked in crafts media for Meredith Corporation and F+W Publications, where she worked with Mr. Toner. Since joining New Track, Ms. Loeffelholz has assumed responsibility for QNNtv.com and Quilters Club of America in addition to Love of Quilting.

  • Rob O'Brian (Vice President, Products)
  • Mr. O’Brian serves as President of Keepsake Quilting, a multi-title direct mail catalog company acquired by New Track in 2007. Mr. O’Brian has had management responsibility for Keepsake since 2004 and continues to oversee the success and integration of that business within the New Track portfolio. Prior to Keepsake, Mr. O’Brian served as Chief Operating Officer at The Franklin Mint, a $500 million direct marketer of collectables.

  • Dennis O’Brien (Vice President, Consumer Marketing)
  • Mr. O’Brien joined New Track in July 2008. Before that, he was Vice President of Circulation at The Taunton Press. He has served as a judge for the Annual Circulation Management Awards, and his innovative strategies have been featured in the trade press. He has been responsible for the circulation of both niche and general consumer magazines having worked at Conde Nast, Readers Digest, and Primedia.

  • Joel Toner (Vice President and Publishing Director)
  • Mr. Toner joined New Track in 2006 after enjoying a successful career at F+W Publications, where he had management responsibility for a large portion of that company's Magazine Division. Mr. Kent had recruited Mr. Toner to F+W in 2002 to assume responsibility for Horticulture Magazine, a property he had managed earlier in his 25+ year publishing career. Over time, Mr. Toner assumed responsibility for other F+W magazine titles, including the highly successful group of Design titles and special interest titles in the fields of crafts, art and writing.
